Wrap Around Care

Before School Provision

Pioneers operates a Breakfast Bar facility from 8:00 – 8:30 a.m. each morning.  This facility offers a nutritious breakfast to pupils at minimal cost.  There is no need to book to secure your child’s place at breakfast club, simply turn up.  However, any child attending the Breakfast Bar must be signed into the facility by an adult at the start of the day.

There is a small charge for this service, although pupils entitled to Pupil Premium Funding are able to attend free of charge.

Please note: Entry to the Breakfast Bar facility closes promptly at 8:20 am in order that all pupils can be served prior and the hall cleared prior to the start of the Academy day.  There are no exceptions to this rule.

After School Provision

We do not have our own after-school club on site.  However, since the Academy opened in 2013, we have been working in partnership with The Home Nursery to offer wrap-around care to our pupils.  This operates from 3:15 – 6:00pm daily and a ‘walking bus’ operates from the Academy to the provision.

Currently fees are £8 per session.
