The Pioneers Passport
We place great emphasis on providing opportunities for our learners that they might not otherwise have, taking into account the local context. This is reflected in the most recent addition to our Academy Curriculum:
The Pioneers Passport
The aim of this is to ensure equitable access to a range of activities designed to develop a love of learning amongst our pupils: ensuring they have opportunities which will not only promote curiosity and develop individual interests but will enable them all to experience the awe and wonder in the world around them.
Our passport is divided into 8 areas:
'Enjoy the Arts'
'Fit for Life'
'Food Glorious Food'
'Celebrating Diversity'
'In Touch With Nature'
'Wonderful Words'
'Kindness Matters'
& 'Exploring Your Locality'
Each area has an activity for every phase within the school: EYFS, KS1, Lower KS2 and Upper KS2.
Activities range from visiting the seaside to paddle in the sea, through to spending a night under the stars!
